[Arkham to Shut Down Its Crypto Trading Platform Arkham Exchange]
According to CoinDesk, data analytics platform company Arkham Intelligence plans to shut down its cryptocurrency trading platform, Arkham Exchange. The platform was conceptualized in 2024 and launched spot trading in early 2025, but it has struggled to sustain operations due to poor trading volume. Despite Arkham having over 3 million registered users and launching a mobile app in December 2025, its 24-hour trading volume was only $620,000, far below Binance's $9 billion and Coinbase's $2 billion. The company has not yet commented on the closure. Arkham was founded in 2020, with investors including OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, Draper Associates, Binance Labs, and Bedrock.
