How Ethereum x AI will be like from my POV: 1. Offchain Execution Layer The complex inference work remains off-chain to avoid computational overhead. This layer consists of the LLMs and a Proof Producer. Its sole responsibility is to generate an Inference Result coupled with a cryptographic attestation (ZKP or TEE attestations), proving that the output was derived from a specific, untampered model. 2. Governance Layer: ERC-8004 The Governance layer acts as the protocolized gateway. With the ERC-8004 standard, it processes the incoming proofs via three sub-registries: • Identity: Assigns a persistent UUID to the agent. • Reputation: Logs historical accuracy to establish trust. • Validation: Verifies the off-chain proof before allowing any logic to proceed to the settlement stage. 3. Onchain Settlement Layer Once validated, the agent’s output enters the Settlement Layer.
