For a government, Bitcoin can streamline their processes and improve their treasuries. 1. All accounting, bookkeeping, transfers, payables and receipts can all be recorded perfectly on the Bitcoin blockchain. 2. Taxes can be calculated and built into the Bitcoin blockchain. 3. No new IRS or other tax collectors need be hired. 4. Government wealth can be stored cheaply and easily without the need to build, support, defend or sustain a Fort Knox or similar 5.
