Wheat is Comfortable Around $5, Leaning Toward $4 -
Underscoring the deflationary nature of a commodity that's sown in almost every country, the food staple benchmark wheat future was at about $5.10 a bushel on Jan. 12, where it first traded in 1974. About $5 has held as support in the reversion cycle from the 2022 spike to $13.64, and risks appear toward $4 in 2026 vs. staying above $6.
