Today I saw a lot of people talking about this. Heard that the mining machine shutdown wave has started again. Yesterday, there was data saying that China's Bitcoin hash rate accounts for 14% of the global total. Not sure if that's true, probably based on IP. If that's how it's calculated, the actual hash rate is probably more than 14%.
But today I checked the mining data. First, the mining difficulty—since November 10, the difficulty has been decreasing, likely related to BTC's price. However, the drop isn’t significant, and there hasn’t been a clear downward trend in the past two days. Either there aren’t actually that many mining machines, or not many have actually been shut down.
Aside from this, the hash rate data also shows no significant drop. These two are the core metrics for mining, and neither has shown a noticeable decline.
