[Stripe and Paradigm Open Tempo to the Public, Adding Kalshi and America as Partners] Foresight News reports, according to Bloomberg, Stripe Inc. and crypto venture capital firm Paradigm have launched public testing for their blockchain project Tempo, opening the network to all companies interested in building real-world stablecoin payment applications. Tempo aims to simplify the process by providing a plug-and-play experience, enabling platforms to easily accept stablecoin payments. The network addresses the issue of rising transaction costs due to congestion in traditional blockchain systems by establishing a dedicated payment channel independent of other parts of the network. Tempo's fee model is a fixed rate, with a cost of $0.001 per payment transaction. New partners for Tempo include financial company America, Cross River Bank, and prediction market operator Kalshi Inc. Existing partners include Deutsche Bank, Nubank, AI startups OpenAI, and Anthropic.
