I used to know this guy who was super into the four-year cycle theory. He could calculate every bull and bear market down to the exact month—when to FOMO, when to cash out. But over the past two years, with all the MicroStrategy moves, ETFs, and other random stuff flooding into crypto, it’s totally messed him up. The cycle didn’t show up on time, the bull market feels like it’s been put on pause, and the market’s been half-dead every day. His whole experience-based system just stopped working. A few days ago, he was so pissed he said if it weren’t for the fact that his positions were still there, he’d think he was working for the regulators. Crypto used to be a free market, but now it’s turned into this half-traditional, half-crypto mess where everyone wants a piece of the action. To me, it feels more like this: prices are being held down by capital, retail investors are trapped under a ceiling of fear, and the cycle is just dangling in mid-air—like it wants to come but can’t. At the end of the day, what we want isn’t some crypto stock king or someone hyping themselves up with a 50-page PowerPoint. We just want a clean, real bull market that can rise and fall naturally, following the rhythm of the market. So the most practical thing to do right now is to take care of your own positions, stay cautious, stay calm, and don’t pin your hopes on ETFs or giants like MicroStrategy. When the real market momentum comes on its own, that’s a bull market—not something artificially switched on by them.
