Global ETF launches are exploding: The number of global ETF launches jumped +19% YoY in October, to a record 137. This brings the YTD total to 918, already +25% above the full-year 2024 record of 736. Equity ETFs saw 95 new listings, or 69% of the total, while cryptocurrency ETFs recorded 15 launches, more than DOUBLE September’s figure. Leverage equity and structured product ETFs reflected nearly half of all new funds, at 67. At the current pace, the ETF industry is set to exceed 1,100 launches in 2025.
