This time, there are two major features and several security upgrades and optimizations. New feature: `mo optimize` – one-click optimization for Mac systems. It covers a full suite of operations like cache refresh, network reset, log cleanup, Spotlight reindexing, startup cache clearing, diagnostics cleanup, and system maintenance. Rebuilt `mo analyze` disk space analysis tool using Go. It’s basically a partial replacement for the $68 DaisyDisk you might have bought. The main goal is to help you drill down and find large, unnecessary, or expired files on your disk that can be deleted. Perfect for cleaning up files beyond what `mo clean` handles. Enhanced stability and security for cleaning and uninstalling. Improvements include better handling of large directories, strengthened path safety checks to prevent accidental deletion of system files, expanded protection for critical system directories, upgraded whitelist validation mechanisms, and strict rejection of abnormal paths, paths with spaces, and `//` injection risks. And here’s a fun little feature: I’ve added the infamous `.DS_Store` files that Mac loves to dump in your folders to the `mo clean` cleanup list. Perfect for those of us with OCD tendencies. Mole has finally reached an intermediate stage. If your Mac is super important, I’d recommend waiting until the final version 10 to use it. But if your Mac is just for personal use, feel free to give this version a try. That said, I still suggest running a `dry-run` first to see what can be cleaned up.
