So is it easy 140,000 for everyone who participates? Public Sale: > 7.5% of supply at 0.025 per token > 2.5B FDV > Min 100, max $100k per person > Raises 187.5M if it sells out Why public sale if they've raised 244M from VCs already? Not enough money? Let's take a look at tokenomics: > 38.5% ecosystem (unlocked, foundation controlled) > 27% team (locked 1 year) > 19.7% investors (locked) > 7.5% public sale (unlocked) > 4% treasury (locked) > 3.3% airdrop (unlocked) So only 10.8% circulating at launch, you may think, which contain 7.5% you're buying + the 3.3% airdrop. But look again at ecosystem row, 38.5% UNLOCKED ON DAY ONE, THAT'S ALMOST 1B! That's 38.5 billion tokens sitting in the @Monad Foundation wallet, ready to be deployed whenever they feel like it. No vesting. No time lock. Just trust us, bro. Paradigm, Dragonfly, Electric Capital, and Coinbase Ventures probably mostly got in at way better valuations with better information and better terms. Now retail gets the privilege of providing exit liquidity at a 2.5B valuation for a chain that literally hasn't launched yet? Premarket shows 5-6B FDV so you should make 2-2,5x, or maybe premarket price will be pumped even higher, maybe 10B valuation, idk. @coinbase integrated some protections into the platform. The algorithm prioritizes loyal buyers. No fees for users. That's something. But it doesn't change the fundamental structure here: VCs in early and cheap, retail in late and expensive, with nearly 40% of the supply unlocked and controlled by the team from day one. Mainnet launches Nov 24. Two days after the sale ends. How many active, real users will be there? Will see if people need another chain. So what to do? Imo, this should be a profitable sale, premarket price will most likely pump even higher, but what the point of holding your tokens before you see if the market needs the tokens? Will team deploy 187M they made to hold the price, not even talking about pumping it? It's up to you if you believe they will, or they won't I am hardly deploying into the sale (for now at least) and selling everything on TGE. If you believe that Monad will find their PMF – hold, if you don't need another chain – sell. Expecting massive price manipulations, tho, so my local moves may change.
