[Texas Residents' Anti-Noise Vote Fails: Bitcoin Mining Farm Disturbance Persists] According to a report by Cointelegraph, as cited by Jinse Finance, residents of Hood County, Texas, attempted to control noise from local Bitcoin mining farms by establishing a new municipality named 'Mitchell Bend.' However, the vote failed, with only 38% of voters in support. Approximately 600 local residents have been troubled for years by noise issues caused by 60,000 Bitcoin mining machines operated by MARA, leading to health problems such as insomnia and headaches. Although MARA has expanded soundproof walls and partially implemented liquid cooling systems, the noise issue remains unresolved.
