Dual-Currency Investment: 30-Day Summary
From the first "dual-currency investment" on October 5th to today, it's been exactly one month.
Did some calculations on the returns tonight—5%.
Of course, that's the coin-based yield. If we calculate it in USD terms, don't blame me if I start crying right now.
The earnings data on Binance's platform is unreliable. I have no idea why the discrepancy is so huge. The actual returns aren't as high as what's displayed.
This month, prices have gone up and down, with some major crashes and surges.
Currently, I'm still holding ETH. The positions that were sold off earlier have been bought back later.
I generally avoid opening positions on Fridays and Saturdays because the minimum duration for positions opened on those days is three days.
Calling this "investment" or "wealth management" is a bit misleading because the risks are not low .
Also, if your principal is too small, this isn't worth participating in. Assuming you avoid being exercised, the annualized yield isn't exactly explosive.
In short, a few years ago, I thought this was meaningless—just a gimmick packaged by the platform to fool people.
Looking back now, I realize how ignorant and laughable I was back then.
Making random comments about things you don't understand really harms both yourself and others.
One last reminder:
This requires time and in-depth research to truly become a "wealth management product."
