Everyone's talking about MMT, but I'm more curious about the situation with last night's B/E crash—so weird.
1. It kept dropping steadily until the wick but didn’t trigger cascading liquidations. The order book wasn’t very thick either, so the result is very different from 1011. Is it because there’s not much leverage in the market?
2. ETH dropped more, but during the second wick this morning, it performed better than BTC. Is it because bottom fishers prioritized ETH?
3. The sell-off came from Binance, not Coinbase, and happened during the sensitive early morning hours. Was someone trying to trigger a crash/cascading liquidations but failed? If it were institutional liquidations, they probably wouldn’t pick the time with the worst liquidity, right?
4. Most altcoins didn’t follow. Is it because there’s no more selling pressure, or is a new storm brewing?
