Here's a 150 year chart of stocks priced in gold (green). Last 3 times it rolled over were: 1929 - The Great Depression 1971 - closing of the gold window, birth of fiat 2001 - dotcom bust These were followed by a decade, more or less, of sideways chop in stocks. (Willy Woo)
