Base is generating something like $180m a year run rate in revenue as an L2 on Ethereum. They are Ethereum aligned - they contribute to the ecosystem and EVM - that's great. They're also ETH aligned. Coinbase owns $340m worth of ETH - that's 136k ETH. That said, their crypto portfolio is skewed 80% BTC and 20% ETH right now. Why not rebalance to 50%/50%? Build on Ethereum. Own ETH.
