It is built using the Cosmos SDK but does not operate on the Cosmos Hub. We will deprecate our own chain and migrate to another chain that can ensure Akash's security. We will evaluate blockchains that possess security, high-quality communities, deep liquidity, and strong growth. These blockchains may be within Cosmos or outside Cosmos but must be IBC-compatible. This means users will continue to use the same stack (Osmosis, Keplr, etc.). We are carefully considering various options, and this process will be very transparent. Akash users will have a voice, and I think openly discussing the pros and cons will be great. In the coming weeks, we will release an RFP and invite foundations to participate.'
