alt season now feels... different? the market is building momentum ahead of the sep 17 Fed rate cuts. traders are already pricing in easier money, and liquidity is starting to move into altcoins faster than Bitcoin. for the first time in nine months, altcoin open interest excluding ETH is about to overtake Bitcoin’s. the last two times this happened, in March and December 2024, alts topped within two weeks. this time, the setup is tricky. if the Fed delivers, alts could get one last strong push higher. if they disappoint, all that leverage can unwind quickly, leaving late buyers as exit liquidity. right now, the whole market is moving on expectations, not reality. so make sure you decide what seat you want to take and choose this seat wisely(Hanzo ㊗️)
