[MIIT NVDB: Preventing High-Risk Out-of-Bounds Write Vulnerabilities in Apple's iOS/iPadOS/macOS] Recently, the Network Security Threat and Vulnerability Information Sharing Platform (NVDB) of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) detected high-risk out-of-bounds write vulnerabilities in Apple's iOS/iPadOS/macOS, which have been exploited in cyberattacks. iOS/iPadOS/macOS, developed by the U.S.-based Apple Inc., contains an out-of-bounds write vulnerability in its ImageIO framework, which may lead to memory corruption when processing malicious image files.
