According to a report by Golden Finance, a demonstration document of a US government project obtained by foreign media shows that the Trump administration's flagship "Golden Dome" missile defense system will consist of four levels - one sky base and three land base, with plans to deploy 11 short-range missile companies on the US mainland, Alaska, and Hawaii. This presentation was presented to 3000 defense contractors in Huntsville, Alabama last week, revealing the system's daunting deadline of 2028 set by Trump himself and its unprecedented complexity. This project draws on the concept of Israel's "Iron Dome" system, but due to the vast territory to be protected and the diverse threats to be addressed, its scale and complexity far exceed the prototype. The demonstration file shows that the system consists of four integration levels: 1) a space sensing aiming layer with missile warning, tracking, and interception functions; 2) The three major land-based defense layers consist of interceptors, radar arrays, and potential laser weapons. It is worth noting that the demonstration file map shows plans to build a large missile base in the Midwest for deploying Lockheed Martin's (LMT. N) developed "Next Generation Interceptor" (NGI) missile. The interceptor missile will form a "high-altitude defense layer" together with the THAAD system, which is also produced by Lockheed.
