Legislation expanding relief for taxpayers impacted by natural disasters and emergencies was signed into law today by President Trump. The Filing Relief for Natural Disaster Act authorizes the IRS to postpone federal tax filing deadlines for victims of a state-declared disaster. Bill passed the House 388-0 in March and the Senate by unanimous consent earlier this month.(Craig Caplan)
