Grok AI officially launches in Tesla's in car system

According to Tesla's official website page, the AI assistant Grok developed by xAI has started pushing to eligible Tesla vehicles. Starting from July 12th, the US version of the new car will come standard with this feature. Users can wake up Grok through the in car app or long press the steering wheel voice button to achieve natural language dialogue, and can choose from multiple personalized styles such as storytelling, insanity NSFW、 Good at debating, children's stories, sexiness, therapists, and 'out of control mode'. Currently, Grok only supports Model S/3/X/Y and Cybertruck with AMD infotainment processors running software versions 2025.26 and above. This feature is launched in Beta version and currently does not support direct control of vehicle functions such as navigation and air conditioning. All user conversation content will be anonymized by xAI to protect privacy. Currently, car owners do not need a Grok account or subscription to enable Grok on their vehicles.
