ZachXBT: Brazilian central bank service provider C&M was hacked at the end of last month, with approximately $140 million stolen

According to Foresight News, on June 30, 2025, a cyber attack occurred on C&M Software, a supplier of the Central Bank of Brazil, resulting in the theft of approximately $140 million (800 million Brazilian reals), as revealed by crypto detective ZachXBT. The attacker hacked into the reserve accounts of six financial institutions and exchanged $30 million to $40 million for cryptocurrency. A C&M employee received only $2760 in compensation for their login credentials being stolen.
