IOST is about to launch Signet Ring, which combines biometric and blockchain technology

Official announcement: IOST has announced the upcoming release of the Signet Ring basic hardware module, which integrates biometric and blockchain technologies. It provides secure and verifiable digital identity control, serving as a modular entry point into the IOST RWA ecosystem. This ring adopts innovative "Proof of Heartbeat" technology, utilizing heart rate and heart rate variability (HRV) to achieve decentralized biometric identity verification. As a modular decentralized identity (DID) credential, it will open up channels for users to access various modules of IOST in the future. In addition, as a daily wearable device, Signet Ring also has health functions such as heart rate monitoring and stress tracking, which can strengthen the connection between health data and secure digital access.
