The network country project Praxis plans to build a space port city focusing on national defense in Atlas, California

Foresight News reported that Praxis, an Internet country project, released the "California Atlas Proposal", which plans to build a defense focused space port city in Atlas, California. The city is located in Vandenberg Space Force Base, covering 3850 acres. Vandenberg is located on the coast of California, between Los Angeles and San Francisco, and has currently joined SpaceX, Blue Origin, and Relativity Space. Praxis stated that the project is expected to invest $17.4 billion and create approximately 20000 high paying American jobs, 50000 residents, and bring an economic impact of $35 billion. The specific amount is subject to detailed economic analysis by the federal government. Foresight News previously reported that Praxis, a network country project, completed a $525 million financing in October 2024, with participation from GEM Digital, Arch Lending, and Manifold.
