Brother Wu's answer reminds me of a topic we discussed when we first met Mr. @ Trader_S18 in 2023. Why was it possible to buy three coins in the entire cryptocurrency industry and why did the wealthy BlackRock enter the cryptocurrency field? Of course, we have been discussing until now and cannot know an accurate answer, but the unified statement we reached at that time was that the United States must have had plans for the cryptocurrency field, and BlackRock knew about this and entered the game with its own hands.
If we consider it from this perspective, BTC's strategic reserve may not be Trump's own idea, and it may even be the result of the agreement between the Democratic Party and the Republican Party. That's why BlackRock, a giant, entered the cryptocurrency market.
So far, I haven't really figured out the significance of Bitcoin strategic reserves for the United States. Some people say it is to hedge against US debt, but this possibility is still slightly small. This conclusion can only be gradually demonstrated from the performance of the United States. From now on, strategic reserves are just not selling BTC, at most, it is to buy "insurance" for the future of the United States. Only with new actions can we have a better understanding.
Secondly, for the stable currency bill, the simplest thing is to expand the basic share of US treasury bond bonds. Although the stable currency can also anchor the US dollar, the anchoring of the US dollar is almost without yield, so even if the currency is loose, it will probably anchor US bonds.
In human terms, if the scale of stablecoins is 100 billion US dollars, it may correspond to a US bond base of 80 billion US dollars. However, if the scale expands to 1 trillion US dollars, the base of US bonds may be 800 billion US dollars, not to mention the possibility of increasing investment in US bonds after expanding the share of stablecoins and the rise of on chain securities firms. Of course, these are all things to be discussed later.
Overall, I think the scale of on chain securities firms is at least billions of dollars, and the ceiling is very, very high. Perhaps this is another development direction for the 'BlackRock'.
