According to France 24, French Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau announced that he will convene a meeting of domestic cryptocurrency industry professionals this Friday to address the recent frequent kidnapping cases related to cryptocurrency companies. This decision follows an attempted kidnapping incident that occurred in Paris on May 13th, where the daughter and grandson of a French crypto entrepreneur were attacked by four masked assailants on the street. Fortunately, they narrowly escaped with minor injuries. It is reported that the woman is the daughter of the co-founder and CEO of Paymium, a French cryptocurrency trading platform. In recent years, there have been multiple kidnapping cases related to encrypted wealth in France, including the kidnapping and torture of Ledger co-founder David Balland in January of this year. Retailleau stated, "We will discuss security measures with entrepreneurs in the cryptocurrency industry to make them more aware of the associated risks." He added that he will spare no effort to track down criminals, "even if they have fled overseas
