The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the UK released a discussion document on May 2nd, officially launching public and industry consultations on areas such as cryptocurrency intermediaries, staking, and lending. It plans to prohibit retail investors from investing in cryptocurrency assets through credit cards and require trading platforms to isolate proprietary trading from customer trading. This measure continues the legislative proposal put forward by the Ministry of Finance in April, aimed at strengthening market supervision and protecting consumers.
