Step 5 Preview Weights Released

According to Step news, the Step 5 Preview weights have been officially released today. This release includes: BF16 and FP8 model weights, technical blogs, and accompanying open-source development tools. As introduced, Step 5 Preview is designed for long-range Agent tasks, utilizing a sparse MoE architecture with a total parameter count of 600B and only 27B activated parameters per token. It supports a 1 million token context window and natively supports both text and visual inputs. Currently, the model weights are available on Hugging Face and Model Scope, with adaptation support provided for various chip platforms and inference frameworks.
