[Stock Market Decline Hits Risk Sentiment, U.S. Treasury Bonds Rise Across the Board] Reported by Jinse Finance, on October 15, during Thursday's Asian morning session, U.S. Treasury bonds extended their rally. The 10-year Treasury yield fell by 4 basis points to 5.14%, while the 2-year Treasury yield, which is more sensitive to monetary policy expectations, also declined. The 30-year Treasury yield, which had previously been heavily sold off due to concerns over inflation and fiscal conditions, similarly dropped. ITC Markets senior analyst Kit Lowe stated: 'The market has finally returned to its previous risk-off mode, where sovereign bonds are bought when stocks are sold off.' Earlier, higher-than-expected U.S. inflation data triggered a stock market decline, reigniting demand for bonds. Several asset management firms, including Pacific Investment Management Company, have recently suggested that investors should increase their bond allocations following the sell-off in bonds. (Jin10)
