🚨 FED JUST GOT THE DATA IT NEEDED TO HIKE RATES AGAIN
US CPI jumped to 3.7% in September, above the 3.6% expected.
That's up from 3.4% just one month ago.
Gasoline was the main driver, up 9.1% in a single month and responsible for more than half of the increase.
But it's not only energy.
Shelter rose 0.4%, and services excluding energy also rose 0.4%.
That's exactly what the Fed was worried about.
Last week's minutes showed most officials believe another hike will likely be needed by year-end.
Today's data makes that case much stronger.
FED already hiked to 3.75%-4.00% in September
The next meeting is October 28 and the only question now is whether the hike comes this month or in December.
Higher rates mean less liquidity.
And less liquidity is a short-term headwind for crypto.
