BTC has been fluctuating in the 80k-85k range for a week now. The essence of this consolidation is the balance between bulls and bears—there’s buying pressure when it dips and selling pressure when it rises. Currently, external factors aren’t strong enough to break this balance and drive BTC to break out either upward or downward, and there’s no internal momentum either, so it’s just in a phase of adjustment. It’s worth mentioning that this sideways consolidation over time has pretty much resolved the overbought indicators from earlier. Looking at the daily chart, BTC’s MACD has returned to the zero line, and the RSI has formed a W-bottom at the midline. So, based on the indicators, here’s what could happen next: - If it follows the red line, the daily MACD will form a bullish divergence at the bottom. - If it follows the green line, it will move in line with the current indicator direction. - Only if it follows the black line will the indicators avoid divergence and move downward, but that would require very strong bearish pressure. The red, green, and black lines may differ in the short term, but they all lead to the same ultimate direction after playing out—and that’s upward.
