[Analyst: Market Index Indicates Crypto Trading Activity Has Yet to Recover Significantly, Bitcoin Stuck in Compression Zone Awaiting Direction] BlockBeats News, October 14, crypto market analyst Axel Adler Jr posted on social media that Bitcoin's recent price fluctuations have been limited. The volatility and capital flow index, which reflects market activity, remains below the average level of the past year, indicating that trading activity has yet to recover significantly. This index combines price volatility, exchange inflow/outflow ratios, and active buy/sell ratios. Its 30-day moving average fell below the one-year moving average on September 12 and hit a low on October 6. The current index stands at 1768 points, below the one-year average of 1828 points. The analyst noted that given the significant daily fluctuations in readings, the 30-day moving average is more indicative. As long as this indicator remains below the one-year moving average, the market will remain in a state of low activity, consistent with Bitcoin's recent narrow-range oscillation. If the index rises back above the one-year moving average, it could signal a recovery in trading activity. Whether the price can break through the Bollinger Bands will confirm the subsequent direction. From October 6 to October 13, the Bollinger Band width narrowed from 11.6% of the average price to 4.9%, while Bitcoin fell from $85,800 to $83,200 during the same period, with little change in recent days. The current upper boundary of the range is at $86,000, and the lower boundary is around $81,900. The analyst believes that if the price stabilizes above $86,000, it will signal an upward trend; if it breaks below and remains under $81,900, it may confirm a downward trend. [Original Link]
