Underwater Observation Diary 10.14 Just noticed today that some bloggers who used to be active on Weibo have now moved to X. Previously, web3 bloggers rarely interacted with bloggers from other fields—partly due to policy issues, and partly because the crypto community values performance over entertainment. But since the market has been so miserable lately, it seems like everyone’s starting to have some fun: 1. A bunch of altcoins on Binance experienced a waterfall drop at the same time. Looks like there’s an issue with the market maker (MM). Rumor has it this might be related to Tang Ning from CreditEase. 2. There’s more and more buzz about BTW on the timeline. I’m one of those dumb KOLs who sold too early. The main reason I sold was to chase a bunch of BNB Chain meme coins, which ended up going to zero. Did the math—turns out the BTW I sold was worth $500K. 3. On BNB Chain, anything that hits $200K is considered a “golden dog,” while on Solana, you can see a $10M golden dog pop up every day. Even though the overall market is trash, it seems like there’s still some hope for altcoins. Got drunk yesterday, so that’s all for now. Time to sober up.
