According to Blur's official announcement, the NFT trading platform Blur will shut down the front end of the blur io website on November 12. Its NFT lending protocol, Blend, will also stop facilitating new loans on the same day. Existing borrowers must repay their loans before the deadline, or they will face default. Blur once surpassed OpenSea in 2023 to become the largest Ethereum-based NFT marketplace by trading volume, with monthly trading volume reaching approximately $1.43 billion in March of that year, capturing over 70% market share at its peak. However, as of March 2026, its monthly trading volume has plummeted to less than $7 million, a drop of over 99.5%. Previously, the Ethereum Layer 2 network Blast, launched by the same founder Pacman, also announced it would cease operations. https://www.(wublock123.com)/news/blur-nft-exchange-shuts-down-monthly-volume-plunges-99-70039
