With the recent announcements from the London and Tianjin courts over the past two days, this two-year-long international pursuit of Qian Zhimin's laundered BTC (from Tianjin's 'Blue Sky Greyray' major illegal fundraising case) will likely result in at least part of the assets being returned to domestic victims. As for the appreciation of these BTC, first, the UK doesn't want to give it back (since they initially planned to sell and confiscate it), and second, China has clearly stated that apart from returning it to the victims, the rest will be confiscated.
