I met with my friend, Dr Sania Nishtar, CEO of Gavi, at its Geneva headquarters. We discussed our partnership’s achievements: expanded immunisation, life-saving vaccines and better access to health services in underserved communities. I welcomed Gavi’s increased allocation to Sierra Leone under Gavi 6.0 and reaffirmed my commitment to childhood immunisation, vaccine equity and sustainable global health financing.
