🚨BREAKING: Blur, once Ethereum’s largest NFT marketplace, dumps more than -30% after announcing the shut down of its frontend on November 12.
More than 1,000 ETH in loans have also been recalled as Blend, Blur’s NFT lending protocol, prepares to stop matching new loans on the same date.
Borrowers must repay or face default, raising fears of FORCED NFT SALES in an already battered market as users scramble to repay or lose their collateral.
Blur’s NFT trading volume has collapsed over 99%, from its $1.43 BILLION peak in March 2023 to under $7 million in early 2026.
A withdrawal tool will follow, while BLUR will retain control of the marketplace protocol’s fee switch.
