[Blockaid Co-Founder: On-Chain Security Incidents Hit Record Highs Monthly, AI Agents Intensify Risks]
Web3 security platform Blockaid co-founder Ido Ben-Natan posted on the X platform, stating that since the release of the mid-year report in August, the number of on-chain cybersecurity incidents has continued to hit record highs month by month. Attackers, driven by profit motives, find attacking on-chain infrastructure to yield the highest returns for hackers. Moreover, as the funds accessible to AI agents increase, this trend is expected to become even more severe.
According to Fortune, Ben-Natan mentioned that the company is currently in its "busiest state ever," partly due to the significant rise in hacking incidents. Additionally, Nansen CEO Alex Svanevik predicted that by 2028, trading crypto assets through AI agents rather than manual interface clicks will become the norm.
