[User Claims Ledger Supply Chain in Europe Also Compromised, Calls for Immediate Recall by Officials] Reported by Golden Finance, on October 12, according to a post by X platform user Johannes (@0xJohannes_), he confirmed that Ledger's supply chain in Europe has also been compromised and called on Ledger to immediately initiate a product recall to protect users. On the same day, he purchased a second device from another MediaMarkt store, recorded the unboxing process, and once again discovered spyware. The device was implanted in exactly the same manner, with identical modifications (such as additional cables and LTE modules), indicating that this is a widespread issue rather than an isolated incident. It may affect Ledger inventory across MediaMarkt and Saturn stores in Europe, involving over 1,000 stores across 11 countries. Initially, he speculated that these devices were returned units that appeared unopened and were resold as new, but MediaMarkt staff confirmed that the purchased device was not a return. Returned Ledger devices are directly sent back to the manufacturer. Store records show that the relevant inventory came from Aqipa GmbH, a company whose distribution network covers Europe. Any physical retail store sourcing from Aqipa may be at risk. He has sent the two devices to Ledger for analysis and reminded users to carefully inspect devices if purchasing Ledger from non-official stores.
