[CryptoBilis-Related Ledger Devices Attacked, Assets Stolen Up to $94.5 Million, At Least One Device Found with Unauthorized Hardware, Tether Freezes $10 Million USDT] Odaily Planet Daily reports that multiple blockchain analysis firms estimate attackers have stolen assets worth up to $94.5 million from wallets associated with Ledger devices sold by authorized distributor CryptoBilis. Ledger has not yet confirmed this total amount. The hardware wallet company Ledger discovered that at least one affected device contained unauthorized hardware. Stablecoin issuer Tether has frozen $10 million USDT linked to the theft, and investigators are still tracing the flow of funds. Ledger advises CryptoBilis customers not to set up unused devices; customers already using the affected devices should transfer their assets to new devices and generate new recovery phrases.
