According to Wu Blockchain, Standard Chartered Bank announced that its Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) branch, regulated by the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA), is now officially offering custody services for Ripple's USD stablecoin RLUSD on the XRP Ledger network to eligible institutional clients. At the same time, Standard Chartered is collaborating with Ripple and LMAX Group to include RLUSD as eligible collateral for certain trading and collateral management operations within LMAX Group. They also plan to introduce Standard Chartered's Collateral Mirroring mechanism, allowing institutional clients to leverage the value of their custodial assets as trading collateral without transferring RLUSD directly to the trading platform.
