Foresight News reports that Based co-founder Edison tweeted that the team is working closely with law enforcement to address the crypto card data breach incident. Currently, crypto card operations remain unaffected, and transaction wallets and applications have not been impacted by this event. The 'admin console' mentioned by community users is independent of the crypto card operating system and does not contain any customer data. This system is part of the early developer version of the custodial OpenClaw product prototype designed by the team in March 2026. Foresight News previously reported that, according to INSOMNIAC monitoring, Streamis, the account management entity for Based's crypto card business, experienced unauthorized access, leading to the leakage of Based cardholder information.
