Key Financial Events This Week (Oct 12 - 16) Wednesday (Oct 14) → US September CPI. The most important data this week. Market expects YoY at 3.6%, higher than the previous 3.4%; core CPI YoY at 2.5%. This is the last inflation report before the Fed's October 28 FOMC meeting. Thursday (Oct 15) → US September PPI + Retail Sales. PPI expected MoM at 0.5%, retail sales expected at 0.3%. Initial jobless claims data will also be released on the same day. Earnings season kicks off. Tuesday: JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, Citigroup, Wells Fargo lead the way. Wednesday: ASML, Bank of America, Morgan Stanley. Thursday: TSMC. Friday (Oct 16) → Industrial Production. September industrial production expected to rebound by 0.4%. Wednesday's CPI sets the inflation direction, Thursday's PPI and retail sales test consumer resilience, and earnings season focuses on banks and chip stocks. Xiao Long's Core Take: I think this week's data will have a relatively significant impact on Bitcoin's price. However, there's strong support around 80K. If it drops near 80K, just keep buying BTC. Let's be long-term Bitcoin investors and not fear short-term price fluctuations.
