Last year on October 10th, $BTC dropped in one day from 122K to 105K. $19 billion worth of contracts got liquidated, and 1.6 million accounts were wiped out. Three days later, it climbed back to 114K. Fast forward a year to today, it's at 83K. That's 27% lower than the rebound level back then. And still 34% away from last year's October 6th peak of 126K. The trigger? Tariffs. Liquidations followed. On that day, $ETH fell 15% in a single day. Over 85% of the liquidated positions were longs. This week, spot ETFs saw $680 million in outflows, breaking a three-week streak of inflows. A year later, there's still $330 million worth of short positions sitting above 85K. Out of those 1.6 million accounts from last year, how many made it back? As for me, I'm all in spot—haven't opened a single contract. #Crypto #BTC #ETH #Trading
