[Ant Group's 'Lingguang' Begins Limited Internal Testing, New Version Targets 'Meta Muse']
According to a report by Jinse Finance, on October 11, Sina Technology exclusively learned that Ant Group's AI product 'Lingguang' has recently begun limited internal testing of its new version, which is positioned to compete with 'Meta Muse.' Public information shows that in September this year, Meta launched its personal AI assistant, Muse. This AI assistant can integrate into users' daily lives and continuously follow up on tasks assigned by users.
Sources close to the project revealed that preparations for Lingguang's development in this direction began about six months ago, with multiple iterations during the process, and the plan is to fully launch it this month. The source also disclosed that the core of this upgrade is transitioning Lingguang from being a conversational AI assistant capable of generating applications to becoming a native personal AI assistant with long-term memory and the ability to proactively advance tasks.
The new version of Lingguang can also utilize Skills and MCP to perform functions such as sending messages via DingTalk and controlling smart home devices. It is reported that the internal testing use cases for Lingguang 2.0 focus on scenarios that are long-term, variable, and challenging for ordinary people to manage, such as helping office workers track market fluctuations, assisting parents with managing DingTalk check-ins, or reorganizing travel plans in cases of flight delays or capacity restrictions at tourist attractions.
