Following the logic of 'a few seconds of samples can be cloned,' just glancing at a stranger could get your iris and face scanned, and leaving a Starbucks cup unwashed could get your fingerprints collected.
The anti-fraud efforts are clearly overkill—this is evident even from their messaging: exaggerated and overly paranoid.
Back in the day, I withdrew funds from Binance, and my bank account got frozen (later unfrozen), but to this day, I still can’t get a credit card. Even after filing complaints with the Financial Consumer Protection Service Platform and seeking mediation through the National Financial Regulatory Administration, it’s been useless. No matter how much I have in savings, they still won’t approve it.
Anti-fraud measures should be about protecting ordinary people, not punishing them with indefinite credit penalties for a single past transaction.
