Wu Blockchain has learned that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filed a lawsuit on October 9 against Linqto founder William Sarris and former executive Joseph Endoso. The two are accused of securities fraud against retail investors through false pricing, creating a false sense of equity scarcity, and illegal securities sales. According to the SEC, from 2021 to 2024, Linqto's subsidiary sold over $430 million worth of investment shares to investors via SPVs, generating more than $160 million in revenue. The platform allegedly concealed actual premiums, fabricated product sell-out statuses, and misled investors into believing that pricing was automatically adjusted by an algorithm. Linqto, which once offered indirect equity investment opportunities in pre-IPO companies like Ripple, filed for bankruptcy protection in July 2025. https://(wublock123.com)/news/sec-sues-linqto-founder-ex-exec-securities-fraud-retail-investors-69859
