He engaged in in-depth discussions with representatives of listed companies and experts from securities and fund institutions, fully listening to opinions and suggestions regarding the current capital market and financial landscape.
The attendees proposed five key suggestions:
1. Continuously strengthen the market stabilization mechanism, expand sources, channels, and methods for medium- and long-term capital entry, and foster the growth of patient capital.
2. Encourage eligible listed companies to increase dividend payouts and share buybacks, improving mechanisms for investor returns and rights protection.
3. Optimize the issuance and listing system.
4. Enhance trading supervision and strengthen cross-border risk monitoring and response.
5. Research and reserve more incremental policy tools.
Wu Qing stated that listed companies and industry institutions are vital participants in the market. He expressed hope that everyone would actively contribute ideas and suggestions to jointly build a robust capital market and better serve the interests of investors.
