[Lithuania Updates Crypto Asset User Reporting Rules to Align with EU DAC8 Framework] (According to Bitcoin.com) citing Bloomberg Tax, the Lithuanian State Tax Inspectorate has issued Order No. VA-63, updating the reporting procedures for crypto asset users to align with the EU DAC8 and OECD CARF frameworks. CASPs are required to collect and report user identity information, transaction records, account balances, and tax residency data. Entities that have already reported in other EU member states are exempt from duplicate reporting. The relevant data will be automatically exchanged among EU tax authorities starting mid-2027.
