As for the security of not using a hardware wallet: iOS is reliable but not 100%, and the apps you use are even worse. Currently, only Blue Wallet is open-source. Plus, you can't even verify if what you're using matches the open-source version. Android itself is an open system, and Bitpie Wallet hasn’t been updated in almost ten years. Leaving it on exchanges? There are plenty of lessons to learn from that.
